Easyboot® 101 for Endurance Riders By Karen Chaton, Copyright 2002 Part 2 of 2

in Part 1 in the June 2002 Issue we covered the step by step process of retrofitting and customizing Easyboots® for use in competition.

This time we are going to go over foaming the boots on using Easyfoam®. This is something that requires a certain amount of trial and error even if you have watched somebody else do it. Don't get frustrated if your first attempt doesn't turn out perfectly. It probably won't! Here are the steps that I take to get the boots foamed on for use on an endurance ride. This protocol works well for my horses, but may not work for everybody's horse, as each horse is an individual. If you are unfamiliar with Easyboots® don't be afraid to ask for help or advice. The new instructions included with each Easyboot® are a worthwhile read. You can find a great deal of additional information on using Easyboots® on my website: http://www.redwrench.com/EZboot/karen/karen.html
