Karen's 2001 Easyboot Pages

Welcome to my NEW webpages on how to prepare Easyboots for use in trail or distance riding.

The information contained here is based solely on my experiences with using easyboots on my own horses for a few thousand competition miles. My method of application may or may not work for anybody else.

At the bottom I'll put links to all my old pages, which may contain some different information than what you'll find here. There will be several pages of photos. I'll only put a few on each page (for those of you with slow servers), and will have a link to each page at the bottom. Also, if anybody wants to see a larger photo I can email it to you.

These are my easyboots hanging in the back of the horse trailer. I normally don't have this many, but these are for the 2001 XP. I have them coordinated. Red boots on their front feet and black boots on the hinds. Each horse takes a different size so I've got boots ranging from 0 to 2, adjusted in different ways.
Another shot of the boots. I'll show later how I hung them up. On the left you can see the vetwrap and duct tape.
This is to show that even tho I have 32 easyboots hanging up, I still have room to put a few 5 gallon buckets in my tack compartment in the back of the trailer. It's only a 2 horse, so I have to utilize every bit of space.
Showing the saddle rack shut. I still have room to put two saddles and my horse blankets on the rack, and all the other tack on the hooks on the right.
These are the hooks I used to link together to hang the easyboots with. They are about $.35 each, and handy for lots of things. I bent them closer together, so the boots won't be able to just bounce off and this way they can't get tangled up.
Close up showing how the boots hang on the hangers.
